What is a Tax Residency Certificate in the UAE?
A Tax Residency Certificate (TRC) or the UAE Tax Certificate is an official document released by the UAE Ministry of Finance (MoF). It confirms that an individual or a company is a tax resident of the UAE and thus is entitled to benefit from DTAAs (Double Taxation Avoidance Agreements) between the UAE and other countries.
A TRC is essential if you live or have your business in the UAE and wish to legally reduce or even eliminate taxes in your home country.
